Is there any statistics that Zoom provides on who logged and for how long?
Denise Serna
02:54:21
How do you suggest we have groups meet together on their projects? I thought I would have them take a screenshot that shows a date/timestamp/their workspace, as well as a short report sheet that states who was present, what they worked on, next goals, and questions for me.
David Lash
02:54:58

I am conflicted about recording the session since it may invite people to skip class. If they are able to watch recordings, that would be more akin to a true online learning model that is asynchronis vs our goal to be "remote". In that, how then do we address participation and attendance if we start to allow watching recordins instead of coming to class?

03:18:02
oi have same concern

03:19:24
How do you set up Zoom office hours?
Stephanie Whitus
03:19:33
It also becomes difficult to require students to "attend" virtually during usual class time, since many students now have new and different responsibilities (child care, different work schedules, etc.).
eervin
03:19:39
I understand that, but some students may not have a computer or internet access when you're class occurs, or they could be sick. Flexibility is needed
Carlos Estrada
03:19:49
For those of you looking to record your lecture in zoom, I spoke to IT a little this morning and I came to the conclusion that it may be easiest to save the recording to your computer, then compress (zip) the file so it is able to upload to moodle if that is something you are wanting to do
Jane Davis
03:20:21
Thank you!
Susan
03:20:57
Thank you so much!

Thank you very much for this helpful session!
Carlos Estrada
03:22:16
You will go to the folder in which the video is saved on your computer (don't save it to the cloud), right click, then send to "compressed (zipped) folder" I believe.
Susan
03:23:04
I could be wrong, but I thought that you need to save to the cloud to be able to get the audio transcription for your zoom recording.
Carlos Estrada
03:23:34
Susan,
Carlos Estrada
03:24:01
